Method
For the Specialty Pizza (or Small Pasta) Order
- 1
Prep and Oven
Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C). If using a pizza stone, place it in the oven to heat. If using a baking sheet, lightly oil it or line with parchment and dust with cornmeal or flour.
- 2
Dough Stretching
Lightly dust a clean work surface with cornmeal or flour. Place the dough on the surface and press out from the center with your fingertips, rotating as you go, until you have a roughly 10–12 inch round (for a small pizza). Leaving a slightly thicker edge for the crust. Transfer the stretched dough to a piece of parchment or your prepared baking sheet.
- 3
Garlic Oil
In a small bowl combine olive oil and minced garlic. Brush the mixture evenly over the dough surface, avoiding the crust edge if you prefer a plain rim. This adds flavor and helps prevent the dough from getting soggy.
- 4
Sauce and Cheese
Spoon the pizza sauce onto the center of the dough (about 1 cup). Using the back of the spoon, spread the sauce in a thin even layer leaving a 1/2–1 inch border. Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella evenly over the sauce (about 2 cups). Season with Italian seasoning, salt and black pepper.
- 5
Add Specialty Toppings
Choose one specialty topping set: - Meat Lovers: scatter the cooked Italian sausage, pepperoni and bacon bits evenly. - Margherita: place tomato slices and fresh mozzarella slices, tuck basil leaves on top after baking. - Veggie Supreme: arrange bell peppers, red onion, mushrooms and olives evenly. - White Garlic Chicken: dollop white sauce or Alfredo in spoonfuls, top with shredded chicken and spinach. - Hawaiian: scatter diced ham and pineapple tidbits. Ensure toppings are evenly distributed and not piled thickly to allow even cooking.
- 6
Bake
Slide the pizza (on parchment if using) onto the preheated stone or place baking sheet in the oven. Bake for 10–14 minutes, until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbling and lightly browned. Baking time varies by oven and thickness of dough — start checking at 8–10 minutes.
- 7
Finish
Remove pizza from the oven. If you chose Margherita, tear and scatter fresh basil on top now. Let the pizza rest for 2–3 minutes, then slice into 6–8 slices. Serve immediately with the canned pop chilled.

Alternative: Small Pasta Preparation
If the customer chose a small pasta instead of pizza, bring a pot of salted water to a rolling boil (use about 1 tbsp salt per 4–6 liters). Add 2 cups of small pasta and cook to package al dente (usually 8–11 minutes). Reserve 1/2 cup of pasta cooking water before draining.
- 9
Combine Pasta with Toppings/Sauce
Return drained pasta to the pot off the heat. Add 1 cup of pizza sauce (or use an equal amount of Alfredo/white sauce if you chose the White Garlic Chicken topping), the reserved 1/2 cup pasta water a little at a time to loosen the sauce, 1 tbsp butter or olive oil, and 1/4 cup grated Parmesan. Stir to coat. Fold in the chosen specialty topping (meat/veggie/chicken/hawaiian) warmed or cooked as appropriate. Taste and adjust seasoning with salt and pepper.
- 10
Plate and Serve Pasta
Transfer the pasta to a small bowl or plate, garnish with additional Parmesan or fresh basil for Margherita-style, and serve with the canned pop chilled.
