Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Marinate the Steak

In a bowl, combine lime juice, olive oil, garlic, cumin, chili powder, salt, and black pepper. Add the chuck eye steak and coat evenly. Marinate for at least 1 hour, preferably overnight in the refrigerator.

  2. 2

    Grill the Steak

Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. Remove the steak from the marinade and let excess marinade drip off. Grill the steak for about 5-7 minutes per side, or until desired doneness. Let the steak rest for 5 minutes.

  3. 3

    Prepare the Toppings

While the steak is resting, prepare the toppings by dicing the white onion and chopping the cilantro.

  4. 4

    Assemble the Tacos

Slice the grilled steak against the grain into thin strips. Warm the corn tortillas on the grill for about 30 seconds on each side. Assemble the tacos by placing the steak, diced onion, and chopped cilantro on each tortilla. Serve with lime wedges on the side.
