Method

Poke Bowl Directions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Rice

Rinse 1 cup of sushi rice under cold water until the water runs clear. Cook the rice according to package instructions, usually by boiling with water in a rice cooker or pot. Once cooked, let it cool slightly.

  2. 2

    Prepare the Tuna

While the rice is cooling, cut 200 grams of sushi-grade Ahi tuna into small cubes. In a bowl, combine the cubed tuna, 2 tablespoons of soy sauce, and 1 tablespoon of sesame oil. Mix gently and let it marinate for about 10 minutes.

  3. 3

    Prepare the Vegetables

Chop the green onions into thin slices. Slice the avocado in half, remove the pit, and cut it into cubes. Thinly slice the cucumber and radishes.

  4. 4

    Assemble the Bowl

In a serving bowl, place a scoop of the cooled sushi rice as the base. Top it with the marinated tuna, seaweed salad, avocado cubes, sliced cucumber, and radishes.

  5. 5

    Add Toppings

Finish the bowl by adding pickled ginger, sesame seeds, and any additional toppings you prefer on top of the poke bowl.

  6. 6

    Serve

Serve the poke bowl immediately while fresh, and enjoy your delicious homemade poke bowl!
