Cocktail Preparation
- 1
Chill glass
Place a martini or coupe glass in the freezer for at least 5 minutes, or fill it with ice water while you prepare the cocktail to chill the glass.
- 2
Measure and combine
In a mixing glass or cocktail shaker filled halfway with ice cubes, pour 2.25 oz Grey Goose vodka, 0.5 oz St-Germain, 0.5 oz Cointreau, and 0.5 oz fresh lemon juice. If you prefer a touch of sweetness to balance acidity, add 0.25 oz simple syrup.
- 3
Stir (preferred) or shake
Stir the mixture briskly with a bar spoon for 20–30 seconds until well-chilled and slightly diluted. If you prefer a brighter, frothier texture, shake vigorously for 10–12 seconds instead.

- 5
Strain and serve
Discard ice from the chilled glass (if used). Double-strain the cocktail into the chilled martini or coupe glass using a Hawthorne strainer and a fine mesh strainer to catch any small ice shards or pulp.
- 6
Garnish and finish
Drop the lemon twist into the cocktail or rest it on the rim. Serve immediately.
