Method

Preparation of Mushrooms

  1. 1

    Clean the Mushrooms

Gently wipe the Portobello mushrooms with a damp cloth to remove any dirt. Remove the stems and set aside.

  2. 2

    Prepare the Caps

Using a small spoon, carefully scrape out the gills from the inside of the mushroom caps to create space for the stuffing.

Making the Stuffing

  1. 3

    Mix the Ingredients

In a large bowl, combine the cream cheese, shredded mozzarella, Parmesan cheese, minced garlic, chopped parsley, chopped basil, olive oil, salt, black pepper, and bread crumbs. Mix well until all ingredients are thoroughly combined.

Stuffing and Baking

  1. 4

    Stuff the Mushrooms

Fill each mushroom cap generously with the cheese and herb mixture, pressing down lightly to ensure they are well-filled.

  2. 5

    Prepare to Bake

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Place the stuffed mushrooms on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

  3. 6

    Bake

Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until the mushrooms are tender and the tops are golden brown.
