Preparation of Ingredients

  1. 1

    Prepare the Lettuce

Wash and dry the heritage blend lettuce thoroughly. Chop the lettuce into bite-sized pieces and place it in a large salad bowl.

  2. 2

    Prepare the Avocado

Cut the avocado in half, remove the pit, and scoop out the flesh. Dice the avocado into small cubes and set aside.

  3. 3

    Cook the Bacon

In a skillet over medium heat, cook the applewood bacon until crispy. Remove from the skillet, drain on paper towels, and chop into small pieces.

  4. 4

    Prepare the Chicken

If not already cooked, grill or bake the chicken breast until fully cooked. Once cooled, chop the chicken into bite-sized pieces.

  5. 5

    Prepare the Eggs

Hard boil the eggs by placing them in a pot of cold water. Bring to a boil, then cover and remove from heat. Let sit for 12 minutes, then cool in ice water. Peel and chop the eggs.

  6. 6

    Prepare the Blue Cheese

Measure the blue cheese crumbles and set aside for assembly.

Assembly of Salad

  1. 7

    Combine Ingredients

In the large salad bowl with the chopped lettuce, add the diced avocado, chopped bacon, chicken pieces, and hard-boiled eggs.

  2. 8

    Add Blue Cheese

Sprinkle the blue cheese crumbles over the salad mixture.

  3. 9

    Dress the Salad

Drizzle the ranch dressing over the top of the salad. Toss gently to combine all ingredients evenly, taking care not to mash the avocado.

  4. 10

    Serve

Serve immediately in individual bowls or plates. Enjoy your Chopped Cobb Salad!
