Method
Wine Making Process
- 1
Harvesting the Grapes
Carefully harvest the Sangiovese, Montepulciano, and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes. Ensure they are ripe and free from rot.
- 2
Crushing the Grapes
Crush the harvested grapes using a grape crusher or manually. Transfer the crushed grapes to a fermentation vessel.
- 3
Adding Yeast and Sugar
Add the yeast and sugar to the crushed grapes. Stir well to ensure even distribution.
- 4
Fermentation
Cover the fermentation vessel with a cloth and allow the mixture to ferment at room temperature for about 7-14 days, stirring daily.
- 5
Pressing the Wine
Once fermentation is complete, press the mixture to separate the liquid from the solids. Collect the liquid in a clean container.
- 6
Aging the Wine
Transfer the liquid to an oak barrel or glass carboy and age it for at least 6 months to allow the flavors to develop.
- 7
Bottling
After aging, filter the wine and bottle it. Seal the bottles and store them in a cool, dark place.
