Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Preheat the Oven

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line two baking sheets with parchment paper.

  2. 2

    Mix Dry Ingredients

In a medium bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking soda, salt, ground cinnamon, and ground nutmeg. Set aside.

  3. 3

    Cream Butter and Sugars

In a large mixing bowl, using a hand mixer or stand mixer, beat the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy, about 3-4 minutes.

  4. 4

    Add Egg and Vanilla

Add the egg and vanilla extract to the butter mixture, and mix until well combined.

  5. 5

    Combine Mixtures

Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, mixing on low speed until just combined.

  6. 6

    Fold in Add-ins

Using a spatula, fold in the dried cranberries, chopped pecans, and white chocolate chips until evenly distributed.

Baking

  1. 7

    Scoop the Dough

Using a cookie scoop or tablespoon, drop rounded balls of dough onto the prepared baking sheets, leaving about 2 inches of space between each cookie.

  2. 8

    Bake the Cookies

Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown and the centers are just set.

  3. 9

    Cool the Cookies

Remove from the oven and let the cookies cool on the baking sheets for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
