Mix Ingredients
In a large mixing bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, grated Parmesan cheese, minced garlic, egg, Italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.

Form Meatballs
Shape the mixture into meatballs, about 1.5 inches in diameter, and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Bake Meatballs
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and bake the meatballs for 20-25 minutes, or until they are cooked through and browned.

Combine Ingredients
In a small saucepan over low heat, combine olive oil, chopped fresh basil, minced garlic, and salt. Heat gently for about 10 minutes, allowing the flavors to infuse. Do not let it boil.
Sandwich Assembly

Prepare the Roll
Slice the 12-inch seeded roll in half lengthwise and lightly toast it if desired.

Assemble the Sandwich
Spread a layer of garlic basil oil on both halves of the roll. Place the cooked meatballs on one half, then top with shredded mozzarella cheese and a sprinkle of grated Parmesan cheese.

Place the assembled sandwich under a broiler for 2-3 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
