Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Wash and Prepare Apples

Thoroughly wash the apples under running water to remove any dirt or pesticides. Core and chop them into quarters, leaving the skins on for added flavor and nutrients.

  2. 2

    Blend Apples

Place the chopped apples in a blender. Add the 2 cups of water to help with blending. Blend on high until the mixture is smooth and well combined.

Juicing

  1. 3

    Strain the Mixture

Using a fine mesh strainer or cheesecloth, strain the blended apple mixture into a large bowl or pitcher. Press down with a spoon to extract as much juice as possible while leaving the pulp behind.

  2. 4

    Sweeten the Juice

In the strained juice, add 1 tablespoon of sugar and 1 teaspoon of lemon juice. Stir well until the sugar is fully dissolved. If you prefer a sweeter juice, adjust the sugar to taste.

Serving

  1. 5

    Chill and Serve

If desired, add a cinnamon stick to the juice for a hint of spice. Refrigerate the juice for at least 30 minutes to chill. Serve cold in glasses and enjoy your homemade Martinelli's Apple Juice!
