Lasagna Rolls Preparation

Cook the Lasagna Noodles
Boil a large pot of salted water. Add the lasagna noodles and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

Make the Bolognese Filling
In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add diced onion and minced garlic, sautéing until onion is translucent. Add ground pork, season with salt and pepper, and cook until browned. Stir in crushed tomatoes and fresh basil. Simmer for 10 minutes, then remove from heat.

Assemble the Lasagna Rolls
On a clean surface, lay out each lasagna noodle. Spread a layer of béchamel sauce on each noodle, followed by a spoonful of the bolognese filling and a sprinkle of mozzarella cheese. Roll each noodle tightly and place seam-side down in a greased baking dish.

Top with Remaining Ingredients
Once all rolls are assembled, pour any remaining béchamel sauce over the top. Sprinkle grated parmesan cheese evenly across the rolls.

Bake the Lasagna
Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F). Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake for 25 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15-20 minutes until the top is golden and bubbly.

Serve
Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes. Serve the lasagna rolls topped with the heirloom tomato sauce.
