Method

Prepare Soda Base

  1. 1

    Steep Hibiscus Tea

In a medium saucepan, bring 4 cups of water to a boil. Once boiling, remove from heat and add the 2 hibiscus tea bags. Let steep for about 10 minutes.

  2. 2

    Sweeten the Tea

After steeping, remove the tea bags and stir in 1 cup of sugar until dissolved. Allow the mixture to cool completely.

  3. 3

Add Rose Water and Lemon Juice

Once the hibiscus mixture has cooled, mix in 2 tablespoons of rose water and 2 tablespoons of fresh lemon juice. Stir well and set aside.

Prepare Cucumber Infusion

  1. 4

    Slice Cucumber

Wash the cucumber thoroughly and cut it into thin slices. Set aside.

  2. 5

    Combine Ingredients

In a pitcher, add the cucumber slices and fresh mint leaves. Pour the cooled hibiscus soda base over the cucumber and mint mixture. Stir gently.

    Prepare Glasses

Fill each glass with ice cubes, about 1 cup per glass.

  2. 7

Pour the hibiscus and cucumber mixture over the ice in each glass, filling them halfway.

  3. 8

    Add Sparkling Water

Top each glass with sparkling water, filling to the rim. Stir gently to combine.
