Brewing Instructions

  1. 1

    Boil Water

In a kettle, bring 2 cups of fresh water to a boil. Ensure the water is not boiling too vigorously as it can scorch the delicate green tea leaves.

  2. 2

    Measure Tea Leaves

While the water is boiling, measure out 2 teaspoons of green tea leaves. If you are using loose tea, you may want to use a tea infuser or a tea bag.

  3. 3

    Steep the Tea

Once the water has reached a boil, remove it from heat and allow it to cool for about 2-3 minutes. Then, pour the hot water over the green tea leaves and let it steep for 2-3 minutes. Adjust steeping time based on your taste preference; less time for a lighter flavor, more time for a stronger brew.

  4. 4

    Strain the Tea

After steeping, strain the tea leaves using a fine mesh strainer or remove the tea infuser. Dispose of the leaves appropriately.

  5. 5

    Add Optional Ingredients

If desired, stir in honey for sweetness and add a slice of lemon for a refreshing twist. Mix well.

  6. 6

    Serve

Pour the brewed tea into your favorite cup, and enjoy your freshly made Harney's Green Tea!
