Directions
- 1
Prepare the Croissants
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). While the oven is heating, take the croissants and slice them in half lengthwise.
- 2
Add the Mustard
Spread Dijon mustard evenly on the inside of each croissant half.
- 3
Layer the Ham and Cheese
On the bottom half of each croissant, place 2 slices of ham followed by a slice of cheese.
- 4
Season to Taste
Sprinkle a pinch of salt and black pepper over the cheese, if desired.
- 5
Close and Prepare for Baking
Top each with the other half of the croissant to close it. Place the filled croissants on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- 6
Butter the Croissants
Melt the butter in a small saucepan and brush it generously over the top of each croissant.
- 7
Bake
Bake the croissants in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until they are golden brown and the cheese is melted.
- 8
Garnish and Serve
Once baked, remove from the oven and let them cool for a couple of minutes. If using, sprinkle fresh parsley on top before serving.
