Preparation
- 1
Brew the Coffee
Using an espresso machine, brew two shots of Illy Classico coffee. Ensure the coffee is brewed at the right temperature and pressure for optimal flavor.
- 2
Steam the Milk
Pour 6 ounces of whole milk into a steaming pitcher. Use the steam wand of your espresso machine to froth the milk until it reaches a velvety microfoam texture. The milk should be heated to around 150°F (65°C).
- 3
Combine Coffee and Milk
In a pre-warmed cup, pour the freshly brewed double shot of Illy Classico coffee. Gently pour the steamed milk over the coffee, holding back the foam with a spoon, then spoon the microfoam on top to finish.
