Brewing Process

Combine Coffee and Water
In a large pitcher or jar, combine 1 cup of coarsely ground coffee with 4 cups of cold water. Stir gently to ensure all coffee grounds are saturated.

Steep
Cover the pitcher or jar and let the coffee steep at room temperature or in the refrigerator for 12 to 24 hours. The longer it steeps, the stronger the flavor will be.

Strain
After steeping, strain the coffee through a fine mesh strainer or a coffee filter into a clean pitcher to remove the coffee grounds. Discard the grounds.
Serving Process

Prepare to Serve
Fill a glass with 1 cup of ice cubes.

Pour Cold Brew
Pour the cold brew coffee over the ice, filling the glass.

Add Optional Ingredients
If desired, add milk or cream and sweetener to taste. Stir well to combine.
