Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Ingredients

Gather all your ingredients. Slice the ribeye steak into thin strips if not already pre-sliced. Chop the green bell peppers and onions into thin slices, and slice the mushrooms.

Cooking

  1. 2

    Cook the Meat

In a large skillet, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the thinly sliced ribeye steak, season with salt and pepper, and cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes. Remove the steak from the skillet and set aside.

  2. 3

    Sauté the Vegetables

In the same skillet, add another tablespoon of olive oil. Add the chopped green bell peppers, onions, and mushrooms. Sauté until the vegetables are tender and slightly caramelized, about 5-6 minutes.

  3. 4

    Combine Meat and Vegetables

Return the cooked ribeye steak to the skillet with the sautéed vegetables. Add Worcestershire sauce and mix well. Cook for an additional 2 minutes to combine flavors.

  4. 5

    Assemble the Cheesesteaks

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Slice the Italian hoagie rolls in half lengthwise. Place a slice of provolone cheese on the bottom half of each roll. Spoon the steak and vegetable mixture on top, and then add another slice of provolone cheese.

  5. 6

    Melt the Cheese

Place the assembled cheesesteaks on a baking sheet and bake in the preheated oven for 10 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

  6. 7

    Add Cheez Whiz

Remove the cheesesteaks from the oven, drizzle Cheez Whiz over the top, and close the rolls. Optionally, place back in the oven for an additional 2 minutes to warm the Cheez Whiz.

Serving

  1. 8

    Slice and Serve

Slice each cheesesteak into manageable portions and serve hot. Enjoy your delicious cheesesteak loaves!
