Preparation

  1. 1

    Juicing the Blood Oranges

Cut the blood oranges in half and use a juicer to extract the juice. Strain the juice through a fine mesh sieve to remove any pulp or seeds. You should have about 150 ml of fresh blood orange juice.

  2. 2

    Mixing Ingredients

In a large pitcher, combine the freshly squeezed blood orange juice with the simple syrup. Stir gently until well mixed.

  3. 3

    Adding Pellegrino

Slowly pour in the Pellegrino sparkling water to the mixture in the pitcher. Stir gently to combine without losing the fizz.

  4. 4

    Preparing Glasses

Fill each glass with ice cubes and pour the blood orange Pellegrino mixture over the ice, filling each glass about 3/4 full.

Garnishing

  1. 5

    Adding Garnish

Garnish each glass with a slice of blood orange and a sprig of fresh mint. Serve immediately for a refreshing drink.
