Method
Dough Preparation
- 1
Activate Yeast
In a small bowl, combine warm water, sugar, and active dry yeast. Let it sit for about 5-10 minutes until it becomes frothy.
- 2
Mix Ingredients
In a large mixing bowl, combine all-purpose flour and salt. Add the activated yeast mixture and olive oil to the flour.
- 3
Knead the Dough
Mix the ingredients until a dough forms, then knead on a floured surface for about 5-7 minutes until smooth and elastic.
- 4
Topping and Baking
- 5
Preheat Oven
Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C) to ensure it's hot enough for baking the pizza.
- 6
Prepare the Pizza Base
Once the dough has risen, punch it down and roll it out on a floured surface into an 11-inch circle.
- 7
Add Garlic Oil
Spread the garlic oil evenly over the surface of the rolled-out dough.
- 8
Add Cheese and Vegetables
Sprinkle the cheese blend over the dough, then evenly distribute the sliced mushrooms, chopped spinach, and halved cherry tomatoes on top.
- 9
Bake the Pizza
Transfer the pizza to a baking sheet or pizza stone and bake in the preheated oven for about 15-20 minutes, or until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbly.
- 10
Cool and Serve
Remove the pizza from the oven, let it cool for a few minutes, slice, and serve hot.
