Method

Dough Preparation

  1. 1

    Activate Yeast

In a small bowl, combine warm water and active dry yeast. Let it sit for about 5-10 minutes until foamy.

  2. 2

    Mix Dough

In a large mixing bowl, combine all-purpose flour and salt. Add the foamy yeast mixture and olive oil. Mix until a dough forms.

  3. 3

    Knead Dough

Transfer the dough onto a floured surface and knead for about 5-7 minutes until smooth and elastic.

  4. 4

    Let Dough Rise

Place the kneaded dough in a lightly oiled bowl, cover with a damp cloth, and let it rise in a warm area for about 1 hour, or until doubled in size.

Pizza Assembly

  1. 5

    Preheat Oven

Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C).

  2. 6

    Shape Dough

Once the dough has risen, punch it down to release air. Roll out the dough on a floured surface into an 11-inch circle.

  3. 7

    Add Toppings

Spread the truffle cream evenly over the surface of the rolled-out dough. Tear the burrata cheese and place it in the center of the pizza.

  4. 8

    Bake Pizza

Transfer the pizza to a baking sheet or pizza stone and bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, until the crust is golden brown.

  5. 9

    Add Final Toppings

Once out of the oven, immediately top the pizza with prosciutto and fresh arugula. Let it cool for a few minutes before slicing.
