Begin by chilling your cocktail glass by filling it with ice water and setting it aside.

In a cocktail shaker, combine the white rum, Luxardo maraschino liqueur, fresh grapefruit juice, fresh lime juice, and Peychaud's bitters.

Add ice to the shaker, and shake vigorously for about 15 seconds until well chilled.

Empty the ice water from the chilled glass.
