Sauté the Shrimp
In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant. Add the shrimp and cook until pink and opaque, about 2-3 minutes per side. Remove the shrimp from the skillet and set aside.

Prepare the Sauce
In the same skillet, add the cherry tomatoes and cook until they start to soften, about 5 minutes. Season with salt and black pepper. Add the cooked shrimp back into the skillet along with the chopped basil, mixing well.

Combine and Serve
Add the cooked linguine to the skillet and toss everything together. If desired, add a splash of pasta water to loosen the sauce. Serve hot, topped with grated Parmesan cheese.
