Ingredients for Crab Stuffed Mushrooms with Alfredo
Method
Directions for Preparing Crab Stuffed Mushrooms with Alfredo
- 1
Prepare the Mushrooms
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Clean the mushrooms and remove the stems. Set the caps aside.
- 2
Make the Filling
In a mixing bowl, combine the cooked crab meat, cream cheese, grated Parmesan cheese, minced garlic, chopped green onions, Italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.
- 3
Stuff the Mushrooms
Take the mushroom caps and fill each one generously with the crab filling mixture.
- 4
Bake the Stuffed Mushrooms
Place the stuffed mushrooms on a baking sheet. Melt the butter and drizzle it over the stuffed mushrooms. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the mushrooms are tender and the filling is golden.
- 5
Prepare the Alfredo Sauce
While the mushrooms are baking, in a saucepan, heat the heavy cream over medium heat. Add additional Parmesan cheese and stir continuously until melted and smooth. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- 6
Serve
Remove the mushrooms from the oven and drizzle the warm Alfredo sauce over the top. Garnish with additional chopped green onions or parsley if desired.
