Tamari Dressing

Method

Preparing the Salad

  1. 1

    Wash and Prepare Spinach

Thoroughly wash the fresh spinach leaves under cold water. Drain and dry using a salad spinner or a clean kitchen towel. Place the spinach in a large salad bowl.

  2. 2

    Slice the Red Onion

Peel the red onion and slice it thinly. Add the sliced onion to the bowl with the spinach.

  3. 3

    Add Goat Cheese and Walnuts

Sprinkle the goat cheese crumbles and walnuts over the spinach and red onion in the bowl.

Making the Tamari Dressing

  1. 4

    Combine Dressing Ingredients

In a small bowl or jar, combine the tamari sauce, olive oil, honey, minced garlic clove (or finely chopped), and black pepper. Whisk or shake well to combine until smooth.

Assembling the Salad

  1. 5

    Dress the Salad

Drizzle the tamari dressing over the salad mixture in the large bowl. Toss gently to combine, ensuring that the dressing coats all the ingredients evenly.

  2. 6

    Serve

Serve the salad immediately as a light lunch or side dish. Enjoy!
