Prepare the Pork
Rub the pork shoulder with olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Ensure the meat is evenly coated.

Slow Cook the Pork
Place the seasoned pork shoulder in a slow cooker. Add the barbecue sauce on top. Cover and cook on low for 8 hours or high for 4 hours until the pork is tender.

Shred the Pork
Once cooked, remove the pork from the slow cooker and shred it using two forks. Return the shredded pork to the slow cooker, mixing it with the barbecue sauce.

Prepare the Corn
Remove the husks and silk from the corn. Cut the kernels off the cob and place them in a bowl.

Grate the cheddar cheese if not pre-grated. Set aside for serving.
