Red Orange Aranciata (Aranciata Rossa)

Method

Red Orange Aranciata (Aranciata Rossa)

  1. 1

    Prepare glass

Select a highball or Collins glass. Fill the glass with 6 ice cubes to chill and allow for proper dilution.

  2. 2

    Add fresh juice and syrup

Pour 2 oz fresh blood orange juice into the glass. If you prefer a sweeter drink, add 0.5 oz simple syrup. Stir gently to combine with the juice.

  3. 3

    Top with San Pellegrino

Slowly pour 12 oz chilled San Pellegrino Aranciata Rossa over the back of a spoon or down the side of the glass to preserve carbonation and create a layered appearance. Stir once gently with a bar spoon to integrate flavors without flattening the soda.

  4. 4

    Garnish and serve

Garnish with a blood orange wheel on the rim or floated on top. Serve immediately with a straw or long spoon.

Lemonade (Limonata)

  1. 5

    Prepare glass

Select a highball or Collins glass and fill it with 6 ice cubes.

  2. 6

Add fresh lemon juice and syrup

Pour 1 oz fresh lemon juice into the glass. Add 0.5 oz simple syrup if a sweeter, less tart lemonade is desired. Stir to combine.

  3. 7

    Top with San Pellegrino

Gently pour 12 oz chilled San Pellegrino Limonata into the glass, pouring slowly to maintain effervescence. Give one gentle stir to mix.

  4. 8

    Garnish and serve

Garnish with a lemon wheel on the rim or floated on top. Serve immediately chilled.
