Cocktail

Method

Cocktail

  1. 1

    Prepare shaker

Fill a cocktail shaker halfway with fresh ice.

  2. 2

    Combine ingredients

Add 2 oz Tito's Vodka, 0.75 oz Amaro Montenegro, 1.25 oz cranberry juice, 0.5 oz fresh lime juice, and 0.25 oz simple syrup into the shaker. If using, add 1 dash of Angostura bitters.

  3. 3

    Shake

Secure the lid and shake vigorously for about 12–15 seconds until the shaker is well-chilled and slightly frosted on the outside.

  4. 4

    Strain

Strain the cocktail into a chilled coupe or martini glass (or a rocks glass over fresh ice, if preferred) using a fine strainer or the shaker's strainer to catch small ice shards.

Garnish & Serve

  1. 5

Garnish the drink with a lime wheel or wedge on the rim and drop 2–3 fresh cranberries into the glass (or a single sugared cranberry on a pick). Serve immediately.

  2. 6

If served on the rocks, stir gently once with a bar spoon to integrate the garnish flavors.
