- 1
Glass preparation
Choose a large wine glass or rocks glass. Fill the glass about three-quarters full with ice cubes to properly chill the drink and keep dilution controlled.
- 2
Build the spritz
Pour 3 tablespoons (about 1.5 fl oz) of Aperol directly over the ice. Add 3 fl oz of chilled prosecco. Top with 1 fl oz of chilled house sparkling water. The classic ratio is roughly 3:3:1 (Aperol:Prosecco:Sparkling water).
- 3
Stir gently
Using a long bar spoon, stir gently once or twice to integrate the components without removing too much carbonation.
- 4
Garnish and serve
Garnish with a fresh orange slice placed on the rim or floated in the drink. Serve immediately while cold and bubbly.
