Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Cook the Spaghetti

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the spaghetti and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Reserve 1 cup of pasta water before draining.

  2. 2

    Prepare the Pancetta

In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the pancetta until crispy, about 5-7 minutes. Remove from heat and set aside.

  3. 3

    Mix Eggs and Cheese

In a bowl, whisk together the eggs, grated Parmesan cheese, and a generous amount of black pepper until well combined.

  4. 4

    Combine Ingredients

Add the cooked spaghetti to the skillet with pancetta. Toss to combine. Slowly pour in the egg and cheese mixture, stirring quickly to create a creamy sauce. If the sauce is too thick, add reserved pasta water a little at a time to reach desired consistency.

  5. 5

    Serve

Plate the spaghetti carbonara, adding extra Parmesan and black pepper on top. Serve immediately.
