Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Chicken

Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper. In a large skillet over medium heat, melt 2 tablespoons of butter.

  2. 2

    Cook the Chicken

Add the chicken breasts to the skillet and cook for about 5-7 minutes on each side, or until they are golden brown and cooked through. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.

  3. 3

    Sauté the Mushrooms

In the same skillet, add the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter and the sliced mushrooms. Sauté until the mushrooms are browned, about 5 minutes.

  4. 4

    Deglaze the Pan

Pour in the Marsala wine to deglaze the pan, scraping up any brown bits from the bottom. Let it simmer for 3-4 minutes until slightly thickened.

  5. 5

    Add Chicken Back

Return the chicken to the skillet and sprinkle with thyme. Allow to simmer for another 2-3 minutes.

  6. 6

    Cook the Polenta

In a separate pot, prepare the polenta according to package instructions. Stir in the Parmesan Reggiano until melted and creamy.

  7. 7

    Serve

Plate the polenta, top with the chicken Marsala, and serve with garlic bread on the side.
