Chill all ingredients in the refrigerator for at least 15 minutes. Zest and orange and lime for garnish; cut grapefruit segments into bite-sized pieces if needed.

Preparation

In a shaker, combine grapefruit segments, orange juice, ginger syrup, vodka (or tequila), Cointreau, lime juice, simple syrup, and a pinch of sea salt. Add ice and shake vigorously for 15-20 seconds until well chilled.

Mixing

Fill highball glasses with ice. Strain the mixture into the glasses, top with soda water, and give a gentle stir. Garnish with orange peel twists and a small grapefruit segment perched on the rim.

Place martini glasses in the freezer for 10 minutes or fill with ice water to chill while you mix the drink.

Chill glass

In a shaker, combine vodka, lemon juice, lemon zest, and ice. Shake vigorously until well chilled and slightly frothy.

Mix base

Rim each glass with the sugar: spread sugar on a small plate, rub the rim with a lemon wedge, then dip into the sugar to coat completely.

Rim glasses

Strain the chilled mixture into the sugared martini glasses. Top with a splash of crystal water or seltzer to add a slight effervescence if desired.

Sketch the logo design on paper as a glassy, crystalline silhouette suitable for a saloon theme. Determine color palette: clear crystal, subtle icy blues or gold accents. Set up a clean workspace, line a tray with parchment, and prepare any heat-safe molds if using resin or gelatin.

Plan and prepare

If using resin: in a well-ventilated area, mix resin and hardener according to manufacturer instructions. Add a few drops of food-safe blue or gray tint to create a frosty look. Pour a thin base layer into the mold or a shallow tray; allow to partially cure until surface is tacky.

Create crystal base (resin method)

Sprinkle edible glitter or pearl pigment into the tacky layer to create a crystalline shimmer. Scatter sugar crystals or rock candy shards to mimic facets. Gently press into the surface so they are embedded but visible.

Incorporate shimmer and shards

Pour a second layer of resin to cover the shard accents, creating a translucent, glassy effect. If using gelatin: bloom gelatin in cold water for 5 minutes, then dissolve in warm liquid with lemon juice. Pour into a mold to form crystalline shapes; chill until firm.

Add structural elements

Apply edible gold leaf or dust along the edges or facets to echo a logo’s gilded crown or frame. Optional: dust with extra fine glitter to accent the logo’s highlights. Let the piece cure fully per material instructions.

Detail accents

Carefully unmold the crystal logo shape. If using resin, handle with gloves to avoid fingerprints. Place on a clean plate or stand, optionally pairing with a contrasting dark background to highlight the crystalline facets.

Unmold and stage

Photograph the finished logo in good lighting to emphasize facets. If this is a metaphorical or edible depiction for a menu, ensure all ingredients are labeled as edible and food-safe; store protected from heat and direct sunlight.
