Cooking Instructions

1

Prepare the Vegetables

Chop the cabbage into bite-sized pieces, dice the onion, slice the carrots, and sweet peppers into thin strips. Peel and cube the rutabaga.

2

Sauté the Aromatics

In a large pot, heat a tablespoon of oil over medium heat. Add the diced onion and sauté until translucent, about 3-5 minutes.

3

Add the Vegetables

Add the chopped cabbage, carrots, sweet peppers, and rutabaga to the pot. Stir well and cook for another 5-7 minutes until the vegetables start to soften.

4

Incorporate the Beans and Coconut Milk

Add the habas and coconut milk to the pot. Stir to combine and bring to a gentle simmer.

5

Add Peas and Season

Stir in the peas and season with salt and pepper to taste. Cover the pot and let it braise for 20-25 minutes, stirring occasionally, until all vegetables are tender.

6

Serve

Once cooked, serve warm as a comforting side dish or main meal.
