Mulberry Gin Mule
Method
Mulberry Gin Mule
Prepare glass
Fill a copper mug or highball glass with ice cubes until nearly full to chill the glass.
Combine base spirits and citrus
In a cocktail shaker (or mixing glass) add 2 oz Revelton mulberry gin, 0.75 oz fresh lime juice, and 0.25 oz simple syrup. If you want a stronger mulberry flavor and deeper color, add 0.5 oz mulberry purée or concentrated mulberry syrup here.
Shake
Add a few ice cubes to the shaker and shake vigorously for 8–10 seconds to chill and dilute the mixture slightly.
Top with ginger beer
Gently top the cocktail with 4 oz chilled ginger beer. Stir once gently with a bar spoon to combine—don’t over-stir to preserve the ginger beer’s effervescence.
Garnish and finish
Garnish with a sprig of fresh mint and a lime wheel or wedge on the rim. Skewer 2–3 fresh or thawed mulberries on a cocktail pick and rest across the mug if using. Optionally express a lime peel over the drink for extra aroma before dropping it in.
Serve
Serve immediately while fizzy and cold. Provide a straw or small stirrer so the drinker can adjust sweetness if desired.
