Cocktail

1

Chill glass

Place a wine glass or large stemmed glass in the freezer for 5–10 minutes or fill it with ice water while you prepare the ingredients, then discard the ice water before building the drink.

2

Build the spritz

Add 3 tablespoons Il Tramonto Limoncello, 15 ml freshly squeezed lemon juice, and 7.5 ml simple syrup to the chilled glass.

3

Add ice

Fill the glass with large ice cubes (about 4–6 cubes) leaving room at the top for wine and soda.

4

Add wine and soda

Pour 90 ml chilled Prosecco (or other dry sparkling white wine) slowly into the glass, then top with 45 ml chilled club soda. Pour gently to preserve bubbles.

5

Gently combine

Using a bar spoon, give the mixture one or two gentle, slow stirs to integrate the limoncello and lemon without flattening the bubbles.

Garnish & Serve

6

Float a lemon wheel on the top of the spritz. If desired, add a lemon twist over the drink to express oils and drop it in. Optionally tuck a small sprig of mint beside the lemon for aroma.

7

Serve immediately with a straw or without; enjoy chilled. Recommend serving per person as one glass.

Prep Notes

8

Simple syrup: to make 1:1 simple syrup, combine equal parts sugar and water, heat gently until sugar dissolves, cool. Store refrigerated. Adjust simple syrup amount to taste depending on sweetness of limoncello.

9

If you prefer a stronger lemon profile, increase fresh lemon juice to 20 ml; for a lighter spritz, reduce limoncello to 2 tbs.
