Tortilla Chips

Pulled Pork

Method

Preparing Pulled Pork

  1. 1

    Cook the Pork

In a slow cooker, add the pork shoulder, chopped onion, minced garlic, salt, and black pepper. Drizzle with olive oil. Cook on low for 8 hours or high for 4 hours until the pork is tender.

  2. 2

    Shred the Pork

Once cooked, remove the pork from the slow cooker and shred it using two forks. Mix in the BBQ sauce until the pork is well coated.

Assembling Nachos

  1. 3

    Layer the Chips

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). On a large baking sheet, spread out the tortilla chips in an even layer.

  2. 4

    Add Pulled Pork

Evenly distribute the pulled pork over the tortilla chips.

  3. 5

    Add Cheese and Jalapeños

Sprinkle the shredded cheese over the top followed by the sliced jalapeños.

  4. 6

    Bake the Nachos

Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake for 10-15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

Serving

  1. 7

    Garnish and Serve

Remove the nachos from the oven. Top with dollops of sour cream and sprinkle with chopped green onions. Serve immediately.
