Preparing Pulled Pork

Cook the Pork
In a slow cooker, add the pork shoulder, chopped onion, minced garlic, salt, and black pepper. Drizzle with olive oil. Cook on low for 8 hours or high for 4 hours until the pork is tender.

Shred the Pork
Once cooked, remove the pork from the slow cooker and shred it using two forks. Mix in the BBQ sauce until the pork is well coated.

Layer the Chips
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). On a large baking sheet, spread out the tortilla chips in an even layer.

Add Pulled Pork
Evenly distribute the pulled pork over the tortilla chips.

Add Cheese and Jalapeños
Sprinkle the shredded cheese over the top followed by the sliced jalapeños.

Bake the Nachos
Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake for 10-15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
Serving

Garnish and Serve
Remove the nachos from the oven. Top with dollops of sour cream and sprinkle with chopped green onions. Serve immediately.
