Muddle the Sugar
In an Old Fashioned glass, place the sugar cube and add the dashes of Angostura bitters on top.

Add Ice
Add three ice cubes into the glass with the muddled sugar and bitters.

Pour the Bourbon
Pour 2 oz of bourbon over the ice and muddled ingredients.

Stir
Gently stir the mixture to combine the flavors and chill the drink.

Garnish
Twist a piece of orange peel over the drink to release its oils, then drop it into the glass. Add a maraschino cherry on top for garnish.
