Duck Wings
Sweet Chili Glaze
Method
Duck Wings Preparation
- 1
Season the Duck Wings
In a large bowl, combine the duck wings with salt and black pepper. Toss well to ensure the wings are evenly seasoned.
- 2
Heat the Oil
In a deep skillet or frying pan, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat until it reaches 350°F (175°C).
- 3
Fry the Duck Wings
Carefully add the seasoned duck wings to the hot oil in batches, making sure not to overcrowd the pan. Fry for about 8-10 minutes or until they are golden brown and crispy. Remove wings and drain on paper towels.
Sweet Chili Glaze Preparation
- 4
Make the Glaze
In a small saucepan, combine the sweet chili sauce, honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, grated ginger, lime juice, and red pepper flakes. Heat over medium heat, stirring until well mixed and slightly thickened, about 3-5 minutes.
- 5
Toss the Wings in the Glaze
Once the wings are fried and crispy, place them in a large mixing bowl. Pour the sweet chili glaze over the wings and toss gently until they are fully coated.
