Preparation
- 1
Muddle Mint and Orange
In a sturdy glass or cocktail shaker, add the mint leaves and the orange slice. Using a muddler or the back of a spoon, gently press down to release the oils from the mint and the juices from the orange. Do not over-muddle; just enough to combine the flavors.
- 2
Add White Port
Pour the Van Zellers white port into the glass or shaker with the muddled mint and orange. Stir gently to mix the flavors.
- 3
Combine Limonada and Tonic
In a separate glass or pitcher, combine the limonada and tonic water. Adjust to taste if you prefer more sweetness or tanginess.
- 4
Assemble the Drink
Fill a serving glass with ice cubes. Pour the muddled mixture of white port over the ice, and then top it off with the limonada and tonic combination. Give it a gentle stir to combine.
- 5
Garnish and Serve
Garnish your Spring Spritz with a fresh mint sprig and an additional slice of orange if desired. Serve immediately and enjoy!
