Method

Shrimp Preparation

  1. 1

    Boil the Shrimp

In a large pot, bring 4 cups of water and 1 tablespoon of salt to a boil. Add the peeled and deveined shrimp to the boiling water.

  2. 2

    Cook the Shrimp

Boil the shrimp for 2-3 minutes until they are pink and opaque. Do not overcook.

  3. 3

    Cool the Shrimp

Remove the shrimp from the pot and transfer them to an ice bath to stop the cooking process. Allow them to cool for a few minutes.

  4. 4

    Drain and Serve

Once cooled, drain the shrimp and arrange them on a serving platter. Garnish with lemon wedges.

Cocktail Sauce Preparation

  1. 5

    Mix the Ingredients

In a medium bowl, combine 1 cup of ketchup, 2 tablespoons of horseradish, 1 tablespoon of lemon juice, 1 teaspoon of Worcestershire sauce, and 1 teaspoon of hot sauce.

  2. 6

    Season to Taste

Add salt to taste and mix well until all ingredients are thoroughly combined.

  3. 7

    Serve with Shrimp

Transfer the cocktail sauce to a small serving bowl and serve alongside the shrimp.

Lemon Vinaigrette Preparation

  1. 8

    Combine Vinaigrette Ingredients

In a small bowl or jar, combine 1 cup of olive oil, 3 tablespoons of lemon juice, 1 teaspoon of Dijon mustard, and 1 teaspoon of honey.

  2. 9

    Season the Vinaigrette

Add salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste. Whisk or shake until well blended.

  3. 10

    Serve

Drizzle the lemon vinaigrette over the shrimp before serving, or serve it on the side for dipping.
