Ensure you have all the ingredients ready: Kahlua, vodka, peppermint simple syrup, heavy cream, and crushed peppermint candy for garnish.
Mixing the Cocktail
- 3
Combine Ingredients
In a cocktail shaker filled with ice, pour in 2 oz of Kahlua, 2 oz of vodka, and 1 oz of peppermint simple syrup.
- 4
Shake
Secure the lid on the shaker and shake vigorously for about 15-20 seconds until well chilled.
- 5
Strain into Glass
Strain the mixture into a chilled martini glass, leaving some space for the cream.
Finishing Touches
- 6
Add the Cream
Gently pour 1 oz of heavy cream over the back of a spoon into the martini glass to create a layered effect.
- 7
