Spring Roll Preparation

Method

Filling Preparation

  1. 1

    Cook the Beef

In a large skillet over medium-high heat, add the thinly sliced beef steak. Season with salt and black pepper. Cook until browned and no longer pink, about 5-7 minutes. Remove beef from the skillet and set aside.

  2. 2

    Sauté Vegetables

In the same skillet, add a little oil if needed, then add the diced onion, green bell pepper, and sliced mushrooms. Sauté for about 5 minutes until softened. Add minced garlic and cook for an additional minute.

  3. 3

    Combine Filling

Return the cooked beef to the skillet with the vegetables. Mix well and let it cook together for another 2-3 minutes. Remove from heat and stir in the shredded cheese until melted. Allow the mixture to cool slightly.

Spring Roll Assembly

  1. 4

    Prepare Wrappers

Lay a spring roll wrapper on a clean surface with one corner facing you. Spoon about 2 tablespoons of the beef and vegetable mixture onto the center of the wrapper.

  2. 5

    Roll the Spring Rolls

Fold the bottom corner over the filling, then fold in the side corners. Roll tightly towards the top corner. Seal the edge with beaten egg.

  3. 6

    Heat Oil

In a deep skillet or frying pan, heat the oil over medium heat until it reaches 350°F (175°C).

  4. 7

    Fry the Spring Rolls

Carefully add the spring rolls to the hot oil in batches, frying for about 3-4 minutes or until golden brown and crispy. Remove and drain on paper towels.
