Prime Rib

Method

Prime Rib

  1. 1

    Prepare the Prime Rib

Preheat your oven to 450°F (232°C).

  2. 2

    Season the Roast

In a small bowl, mix kosher salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and chopped rosemary. Rub olive oil over the prime rib, then apply the seasoning mixture evenly all over the meat.

  3. 3

    Roast the Prime Rib

Place the prime rib on a roasting rack in a roasting pan. Roast in the preheated oven for 15 minutes to create a crust. After 15 minutes, reduce the oven temperature to 325°F (163°C) and continue roasting for about 1.5 to 2 hours, or until the internal temperature reaches 130°F (54°C) for medium-rare.

  4. 4

    Rest and Slice

Remove the prime rib from the oven, cover it loosely with aluminum foil, and let it rest for 20-30 minutes before slicing.

Roasted Turkey

  1. 5

    Prepare the Turkey

Preheat your oven to 325°F (163°C).

  2. 6

    Season the Turkey

In a bowl, combine softened butter, chopped sage, thyme, salt, and black pepper. Spread this mixture evenly under and over the skin of the turkey.

  3. 7

    Fill the Turkey

Stuff the cavity of the turkey with quartered onion, carrots, and celery.

  4. 8

    Roast the Turkey

Place the turkey breast side up on a rack in a roasting pan. Pour chicken broth into the pan. Roast for about 13-15 minutes per pound, basting occasionally with the pan juices, until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).

  5. 9

    Rest and Carve

Remove the turkey from the oven and let it rest for at least 20-30 minutes before carving.

Honey Baked Ham

  1. 10

    Prepare the Ham

Preheat your oven to 325°F (163°C).

  2. 11

    Glaze Preparation

In a bowl, mix honey, brown sugar, Dijon mustard, ground cloves, and cinnamon until well combined.

  3. 12

    Score the Ham

Score the surface of the ham in a diamond pattern, being careful not to cut too deep.

  4. 13

    Glaze the Ham

Brush the glaze generously over the scored surface of the ham.

  5. 14

    Roast the Ham

Place the ham in a roasting pan and cover it loosely with aluminum foil. Roast for about 15-18 minutes per pound, uncovering for the last 30 minutes to allow the glaze to caramelize.

  6. 15

    Rest and Slice

Once done, remove the ham from the oven and let it rest for 20 minutes before slicing.
