Preparation of Tea

  1. 1

    Boil Water

In a kettle, bring 500 ml of fresh water to a rolling boil.

  2. 2

    Steep Tea

Once the water reaches a boil, remove it from heat and let it cool for about 30 seconds to reach the ideal temperature (around 80°C). Add 2 tablespoons of Sencha green tea leaves to a teapot or infuser.

  3. 3

    Add Water

Pour the hot water over the tea leaves and let it steep for 2-3 minutes, depending on your taste preference.

  4. 4

    Strain Tea

After steeping, strain the tea into a cup or pitcher to remove the leaves.

Flavoring the Tea

    Add Honey

While the tea is still warm, stir in 1 tablespoon of honey until fully dissolved.

  2. 6

  3. 7

    Garnish

Add 5 fresh mint leaves to the tea for a refreshing aroma and taste.
