Make Gnocchi Dough
Pass the potatoes through a potato ricer into a large bowl. Add flour, the egg, and salt. Mix until a soft dough forms. If the dough is too sticky, add a bit more flour.

On a floured surface, divide the dough into sections. Roll each section into a log, about 3/4 inch thick. Cut into 1-inch pieces and shape with a fork to create ridges.

Roast Butternut Squash
Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). In a bowl, toss the diced butternut squash with olive oil, 5-spice powder, salt, and black pepper. Spread on a baking sheet and roast for 25-30 minutes until tender and caramelized.

Combine Ingredients
In a large serving bowl, combine the cooked gnocchi, roasted butternut squash, and miso bacon sauce. Toss gently to combine.
