Method

Preparing the Steak

  1. 1

    Season the Steak

Rub each ribeye steak with 1 tablespoon of olive oil, then season both sides with salt, black pepper, and garlic powder. Let the steaks sit at room temperature for about 30 minutes to allow the seasonings to penetrate.

  2. 2

    Preheat the Grill

Preheat your grill to high heat (around 450°F to 500°F or 230°C to 260°C) to ensure a good sear on the steak.

  3. 3

    Grill the Steak

Place the seasoned steaks on the grill. Cook for about 4-5 minutes on one side without moving to get a nice sear. Flip the steaks and cook for another 4-5 minutes for medium-rare doneness. Adjust cooking time according to your preferred doneness.

  4. 4

    Rest the Steak

Remove the steaks from the grill and let them rest on a plate for about 5-10 minutes to allow the juices to redistribute.

Preparing the Vegetables

  1. 5

    Prepare the Vegetables

While the steak is resting, wash and cut the asparagus, bell peppers, and zucchini into bite-sized pieces.

  2. 6

    Season the Vegetables

In a bowl, toss the cut vegetables with 1 tablespoon of olive oil, salt, and black pepper until evenly coated.

  3. 7

    Grill the Vegetables

Place the seasoned vegetables on the grill. Grill for about 5-7 minutes, turning occasionally until they are tender and slightly charred.
