Main Ingredients

Lemon Butter Sauce

Method

Preparing the Salmon and Asparagus

  1. 1

    Preheat the Grill

Preheat your grill to medium-high heat, approximately 400°F (200°C).

  2. 2

    Prepare the Salmon

Brush the salmon fillets with olive oil and season both sides with salt and black pepper.

  3. 3

    Prepare the Asparagus

Trim the ends of the asparagus and toss them with olive oil, salt, and black pepper.

  4. 4

    Grill the Salmon

Place the salmon fillets skin-side down on the grill. Grill for about 6-8 minutes per side, or until cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.

  5. 5

    Grill the Asparagus

On a separate part of the grill, place the asparagus. Grill for about 4-5 minutes, turning occasionally until tender and slightly charred.

Making the Lemon Butter Sauce

  1. 6

    Melt the Butter

In a small saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat.

  2. 7

    Add Garlic

Once the butter is melted, add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1-2 minutes until fragrant.

  3. 8

    Add Lemon Juice and Season

Stir in the lemon juice and chopped parsley. Season with salt and black pepper to taste. Remove from heat.

Serving

  1. 9

    Plate the Dish

On a serving platter, arrange the grilled salmon and asparagus.

  2. 10

    Drizzle with Sauce

Spoon the lemon butter sauce over the salmon and asparagus.

  3. 11

    Garnish

Garnish with additional parsley if desired and serve immediately.
