Preparation
- 1
Prepare the Chicken
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Pat the chicken breasts dry with paper towels and season both sides with salt and black pepper.
- 2
Bread the Chicken
Set up a breading station with three shallow bowls: one with flour, one with beaten eggs, and one with a mixture of breadcrumbs and grated Parmesan cheese. Dip each chicken breast first into the flour, shaking off excess, then into the eggs, and finally into the breadcrumb mixture, ensuring an even coating.
Cooking
- 3
Fry the Chicken
In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Once hot, add the breaded chicken breasts and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through. Remove and place on a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.
- 4
Assemble the Dish
In a baking dish, spread half of the marinara sauce on the bottom. Place the fried chicken breasts on top of the sauce. Pour the remaining marinara sauce over the chicken and sprinkle with shredded mozzarella cheese.
- 5
Bake
Place the baking dish in the preheated oven and bake for 15-20 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

Serve
Remove from the oven and let it sit for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy your Chicken Parmesan with a side of pasta or a fresh salad.
