Method

Pasta Preparation

  1. 1

    Cook the Pasta

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the fettuccine pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente, about 8-10 minutes. Drain and set aside.

Chicken Preparation

  1. 2

    Grill the Chicken

While the pasta is cooking, heat the olive oil in a grill pan over medium-high heat. Season the chicken breasts with salt and black pepper. Grill the chicken for about 6-7 minutes on each side or until fully cooked and no longer pink in the center. Remove from heat and let rest for 5 minutes before slicing.

Alfredo Sauce Preparation

  1. 3

    Make the Alfredo Sauce

In a medium saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant. Pour in the heavy cream and whisk until combined, then bring to a simmer. Gradually stir in the grated Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth. Add nutmeg, salt, and black pepper, stirring to combine. Remove from heat.

Combine and Serve

  1. 4

    Combine Pasta and Sauce

In a large mixing bowl, combine the drained fettuccine pasta with the Alfredo sauce, tossing to coat evenly.

  2. 5

    Serve

Plate the pasta and top with sliced grilled chicken. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
