Rub the spice mixture all over the filet of beef, ensuring it is evenly coated. Allow the beef to marinate for at least 30 minutes at room temperature.

Transfer the seared filet to a preheated oven at 400°F (200°C) and roast for about 15-20 minutes or until it reaches your desired level of doneness (135°F for medium-rare).
