Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Seafood

In a large bowl, combine the shrimp, calamari, and lobster meat. Season with salt and black pepper. Set aside.

  2. 2

    Cook the Pasta

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the spaghetti neri and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Reserve 1 cup of pasta water, then drain the spaghetti.

Cooking

  1. 3

    Sauté the Garlic

In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute, until fragrant.

  2. 4

    Add the Seafood

Add the seasoned shrimp, calamari, and lobster to the skillet. Cook for about 3-4 minutes, until the shrimp turn pink and the calamari is tender.

  3. 5

    Incorporate the Sauce

Pour in the spicy lobster tomato sauce and bring to a simmer. Allow to cook for an additional 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.

  4. 6

    Combine with Pasta

Add the drained spaghetti neri to the skillet, tossing to combine. If the sauce is too thick, add some reserved pasta water to achieve desired consistency.

  5. 7

    Finish with Basil

Remove from heat and stir in the chopped basil. Adjust seasoning with additional salt and pepper, if needed.

Serving

  1. 8

    Plate and Serve

Divide the spaghetti neri among serving plates. Garnish with extra basil if desired. Serve immediately.
